Bandwidth Usage & Billing

We use the 95th percentile billing method which enables each server to burst to 100Mbps whenever the extra speed is needed but without the high cost of the extra bandwidth. Usage is calculated by adding together the incoming and outgoing 95th percentile amounts and then converting to Gigabytes at the ratio of 300GB per 1Mbps.  For example, a server sending and receiving at 20Mbps for an entire month would use a total of 40Mbps or 12,000 Gigabytes of transfer.

We do not have any bandwidth overage fees.  If you use more than your plan is allotted, we will contact you and bump your plan up to the appropriate level.  If you use less, we reduce your plan so you are always paying only for the bandwidth you use.
